Signs of The Times
It is easy to rationalize about sign messages. You either believe or you don't. Many who see a sign think maybe it doesn't really mean what I understand or maybe I will get away with just ignoring the sign or I don't see any good use of the sign to start with. God has given out signs of salvation, from the start of his creation. But most of the time, people have passed off God's message lightly as if they just weren't interested or didn't like what they heard or have found some other way to ignore the divine word. The Bible becomes more fulfilled everyday in front of everyone's eyes. And it is to everyone's knowledge that God is filling his kingdom with fewer and fewer that grips the signs to believe each day. It's tearful but the door to believing is closing on thousands each day. And the day will come that there will be no more signs, no more invitations to open the door of life to any who have not knocked to enter that day. Jesus will come in his fullness to us-that acknowledge the signs and believed. He will be coming with rewards with him to repay everyone according to the deeds he has done. Good men will be better and those who are holy will continue of in greater holiness.
Living by faith
Responding to God's instruction is a matter of faith. As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 5:7: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." It is, therefore, important for us to start keeping the Holy Days when we learn about them. Even though we may not understand everything at first, we will learn a great deal more as we actually begin observing them.
If you would like to learn more about observing the annual festivals.
In summary, the feast days of God are a time of happiness, not just because of their meaning for us, but because of the wonderful hope they promise for all mankind. Observing the Holy Days reminds us of God's great love for humanity. Worshiping God in this way is a joy and pleasure. These festivals truly are God's gifts to His people!
Our covenant with God
The blood of Christ also signifies that He has entered into a covenant, or agreement. When Jesus instituted wine for the New Testament Passover, He said drink it because "this is My blood of the new covenant" (Matthew 26:27-28).
Why is this wine called the "blood of the new covenant"? The writer of the book of Hebrews explains that, after God enjoined the Old Covenant on ancient Israel, and after the Israelites' response of obedient commitment, the covenant was ratified by the ceremony of the sprinkling of blood. The Bible writers called this the "blood of the covenant" (Hebrews 9:18-20; 13:20; Exodus 24:3-8).
We must understand that repentance, baptism and the acceptance of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ-along with belief in His promise to forgive our sin-constitutes a covenant with God. Through this covenant, which we gratefully accept and can completely rely on (Hebrews 6:17-20), God grants us eternal life. By accepting the sacrifice of Christ for the remission of sin, we enter into a covenant relationship with the God of the universe. The terms of this covenant are absolute, because it was sealed with the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Hebrews 9:11-12, 15). This covenant is renewed every year when we partake of the Passover.
What are the terms of this covenant relationship? "'This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,' then He adds, 'Their sins and lawless deeds I will remember no more'" (Hebrews 10:16-17).
Ancient Israel did not have the heart to faithfully keep God's commandments (Deuteronomy 5:29). Under the New Covenant, however, God writes His law in our hearts and minds. His laws are not those of physical purification contained in the system of sacrifices, washings and service in the tabernacle. Instead, they are the holy and righteous
The Last Great Day: Eternal Life Offered to All. A new Heaven and Earth is on it’s way.
What does God have in mind for those who have never believed in Christ or understood any of God's truth? How does the Creator provide for them in His plan?
The Bible makes abundantly clear in Acts 4:12 that "there is no other name under heaven" than that of Jesus Christ by which human beings can be saved.
This particular passage raises troubling questions for anyone who believes that God is desperately trying to save the whole world in this age. God is seeking out all who will believe in his word, accept his son Jesus as their king and receive his holy Spirit into their own bodies. He is building up his family as a mighty army. The real work of real Christians will be in the new world to come. After 1000 years many of us will descend into heaven with Jesus, Some will be given appointments to be leaders in the new world. If this is the only time for salvation, we need to think about all, the billions of people that have lived and died without once hearing the name of Jesus Christ. Thousands die every day never having heard of Christ.
Remember by only believeing in God's Son Jesus can one be saved
In spite of the missionary zeal of so many over the centuries, far more human souls have been "lost" than "saved. Many have not even heard the gospel of salvation? The traditional portrayal of conflict between God and Satan over mankind is not over nor is the struggle. Satan will fight
to the very end to keep everyone he can not to believe in God or his word. He doesn’t want you to become a member of the family of God, he knows after you become a born again person, you add power to the army of God.
What is the fate of these people? What does God have in mind for those who have never believed in Christ or understood any of God's truth? How does the Creator provide for them in His plan? Are they lost forever without any hope of salvation? Many are good people that did not believe in the word of god strong enought to become born again. many was not evil, many just half way believed.
God is going to give these people an opportunity in this new world to come.
Jesus is returning to take away all the power and grip of Satan from this world. Giving every one without the influence and bounding power of Satan an opportunity to believe in the son Jesus Christ, accept God word and leadings, and allow the presents and domination of the holy Ghost in their life.
We should not doubt God's saving power! Let's examine some common assumptions and come to an understanding of our Creator's marvelous solution. Jesus is coming to rule and set up the kingdom of God here on earth for 1000 years. On his return Jesus will return with a shout, waking the dead, calling for the saints to come to him in the sky. At this time there will be a oneness of us in his Holy Spirit. Our Job will be to help Jesus set up and operate the new world. We that has been born again will be united in a oneness of the Holy Spirit, being totally submissive to Gods will. The wicked will be banished from having any part in being a live in this New World. Evil doers, Satan and all demons will be imprisoned. Everyone will be given the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as his or her king and savior. Every person must agree to be committed to obey.
God today is seeking out all that will truly believe in his word and accept the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ into their body to become the family of God to help Jesus set up his kingdom on this earth for 1000 years. I pray that you will be one that will believe, accept the realness of becoming born again. After the 1000 years comes the real judgment. May God have mercy on your soul?
God's future intervention
God is a God of love and mercy. But He is also a just and righteous God who doesn't compromise with evil. Instead of repenting and acknowledging their Creator, most of humanity has been snubbing their collective noses at Him in a pretense of religion and suffering the consequences. But a time is coming when He will intervene by sending Jesus Christ to rule over the nations and save us from ourselves.
Many Old and New Testament prophecies describe the coming Day of the Lord, including those of the seven trumpets in Revelation 8-11. They create a composite picture of a time of blowing of trumpets, a time of catastrophic war, and a time when all nations will be brought together to be judged by God.
The Feast of Trumpets contains an important message for Christians. In fact, it is the most important news on the globe today. It heralds the gospel's emphasis on repentance and judgment, the warning blasts of the shofar, the Day of the Lord and the proclamation that the Messiah is returning to establish God's Kingdom on the earth.
Jesus Himself makes a key statement in His Mount Olivet prophecy recorded in Matthew 24: "Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
"Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other" (verses 29-31).
Notice that the return of Jesus Christ is accompanied by the sound of a trumpet.
The apostle Paul encourages Christians to keep the coming Day of the Lord in mind. He writes to the church in Thessalonica: "For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say, 'Peace and safety!' then sudden destruction comes upon them, as labor pains upon a pregnant woman. And they shall not escape.
"But you, brethren, are not in darkness, so that this Day should overtake you as a thief. You are all sons of light and sons of the day. We are not of the night nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk are drunk at night.
"But let us who are of the day be sober . . . For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him" (1 Thessalonians 5:2-10).
Indeed, the resurrection of the saints to reign with Christ in glory will come at the sounding of the last trumpet (1 Corinthians 15:51-52; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
The prophesied Day of the Lord is coming. The trumpet will sound, the saints will be raised from the grave and Jesus Christ will return to establish His Father's Kingdom on the earth. The Feast of Trumpets isn't just for the Jewish people. It is a very special day for all those who wait for the Messiah. GN
