Are We Living in"The Last Days"?

What events in our time were foretold in the Bible?

What does God's Word say people would be like in "the last days"?

Regarding "the last days" what good things does the Bible foretell?

Have you watched the news on television and wondered 'What is this world coming to?' Tragic things happen so suddenly and unexpectedly that no human can predict what tomorrow will bring.(James 4:14) However God knows what the future holds.(Isaiah 46:10) Long ago his Word, the Bible, foretold not only the bad things happening in our day but also the wonderful things that will occur in the near future.

Jesus Christ spoke about the Kingdom Of God, which will bring an end to wickedness. (Luke 4:43) People wanted to know when the Kingdom would come. In fact Jesus' disciples asked him: 'What will be the sign of your coming and of the conclusion of the world?" (Matthew 24:3) In reply Jesus told them that only God the father knew exactly when the end of this world would come. (Matthew 24:36) But Jesus did foretell things that would take place on earth just before the Kingdom would bring true peace and security to mankind. What he foretold, we now see it taking place. I praise God the Father that he is going to allow his Son Jesus to come back into the world not to just redeem his own that believes in him that have committed to his Father's will and have accepted His Holy Spirit to lead and guide them, but coming back to rule the complete earth with his saints for a 1000 years, before he will allow the devil freedom again for a short time. Giving hope to those that will live through the great and terrible tribulation to gain faith and strength to overcome the devils influence and become able to be accepted into the family of God. Then after the devil has made a second effort to rule, Time as we know it will be no more. God has proclaimed a second death for unbelievers "this of the spirit" at the white throne of Judgment. A death from God's presence that has no end. The word of God describes it as a non-consuming fire that torments beyond our thoughts.

Before we examine the evidence that we are living in the conclusion of the world let us briefly consider a war that no human could possibly have observed. It took place in the invisible spirit realm, and its outcome affects us all.

When God, the Father made Jesus Christ, King in Heaven (Daniel 7;13,14) "War broke out in heaven" says the Bible. Soon after Jesus received Kingdom power, Jesus took action (Revelation 12:7.9.12)"Michael, (God's archangel) and his following angels battled with the dragon(Satan the Devil) and Satan's wicked angels (the demons). Satan and his wicked angels lost that war and were cast out of Heaven to the earth. God's faithful angels rejoiced that Satan and his demons were gone. Humans, however, would experience no such joy. Instead, the Bible foretold: "Woe for the earth...because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time. Please notice what would result from the war in Heaven. In his fury, Satan would bring woe, or trouble upon those on earth. As you will see, we are now living in that time of woe. "even Satan realizes that he now has a very short period of time." The Bible refers to this period as " the last days." (II Timothy 3:1) How glad we can be that God will soon do away with the Devil's influence over the earth! Let us consider some of the things foretold in the Bible that are happening right now. These prove that we are living in the last days and that God's Kingdom will soon bring everlasting blessings to those who love God. First, let us examine four features of the sign that Jesus said would mark the time in which we live. The major developments of the last days include that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom (Matthew 24:7). Millions of people have been killed in wars during the past century. New technology is making it possible to quickly kill millions and millions more. Many nations have advanced in their abilities for killing with many weapons of mass destruction. Our next war will be nothing but devastation.

There will be food shortages. (Matthew 24:7). Researchers say that food production has increased greatly during the past thirty years. Nethertheless, food shortages continue because many people do not have enough money to buy food or land on which to raise crops. In developing countries, well over a billion people have to live on an income of a dollar or less a day. The majority of these suffer from chronic hunger. The World Health Organization estimates that malnutrition plays a major role in the deaths of more than five million children each year. The really bad news is the cost of food is rising everyday.

There will be great earthquakes (Luke 21:11). According to the U.S. Geological Survey, since 1990 alone an average of seventeen earthquakes per year have been powerful enough to damage buildings and crack the ground. And on an average, earthquakes strong enough to cause total destruction of buildings have occurred yearly. Another source states: "Earthquakes have claimed hundreds of thousands of lives in the last hundred years and improvements in technology have only slightly reduced the death toll."

There will be pestilences (Luke 21:11). Despite medical advances, old and new diseases plague mankind. One report says that twenty well-known diseases-including tuberculosis, malaria, and cholera-have become more common in recent decades, and some types of disease are increasingly difficult to cure by means of drugs. In fact, at least thirty new diseases have appeared. Some of them have no known cure and are fatal.

People of the last days aside from identifying certain world developments, the Bible foretold that the last days would be marked by a change in human society. The apostle Paul described what people in general would be like. Read II Timothy 3:1-5. In the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. In part, Paul said that people would be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, disobedient to parents, disloyal, having no natural affection, without self-control, fierce, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, and having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power. Have people become like that in your community? No doubt they have. There are people everywhere who have bad traits. This shows that God will soon act, for the Bible says that when the wicked ones sprout as the vegetation and all the practicers of what is hurtful blossom forth, it is that they may be annihilated forever. (Psalm 92:7)

Positive developments in the last days are indeed filled with woe, just as the Bible foretold. In this troubled world, however, there are positive developments among the worshippers of God. The true knowledge will become abundant as the Bible in the book of Daniel foretold. When would that happen? During the time of the end (Daniel 12:4). God has helped those who truly desire to serve him to grow in understanding of the Bible. They have grown in appreciation of precious truths about the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the condition of the dead, and the resurrection. Moreover, worshippers of God have learned how to live their lives in a way that benefits them and brings praise to God. They have also gained a clearer understanding of the role of God's Kingdom and how it will set matters straight on the earth. What do they do with this knowledge? That question brings us to yet another prophecy that is being fulfilled in these last days.

This good news of the kingdom will be preached to all the inhabitants of the earth is what Jesus Christ said in his prophesy about the conclusion of the last days. (Matthew 24:3, 14) Television, satellites, and millions of evangelists and preachers are zeolously preaching to all nations, tribes, people and tongues lifting up the good news about the Kingdom of God and the second coming of Jesus Christ.

What an impressive fulfillment of prophesy, especially since Jesus foretold that true Christians would be objects of hatred by all people. (Luke 21:7)

Since the end of Satan's world of rule is near, we need to ask ourselves, "What should I be doing? It is wise to continue to learn more about God and his requirements for us. Be a serious student of the Bible. Make it your habit to associate regularly with others to seek to do God's will. Take in the abundant knowledge that God has made available to people worldwide, and make necessary changes in your life so that you may enjoy God's favor.

Jesus foretold that most people would ignore the evidence that we are living in the last days. The destruction of the wicked will come suddenly and unexpectedly. Like a thief in the night, it will catch most people by surprise. (I Thessalonians 5:2) Jesus warned that as the days of Noah were, so the presence of the Son of man will be. In those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, men marrying and women being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark. Then they took no note until the flood came and swept them all away, and the presence of the Son of man will be like that. (Matthew 24:37-39)

Jesus told his listeners to pay attention to themselves that their hearts never became weighed down with anxieties of life, so that suddenly that day becomes instantly upon you as a snare. For it will come upon all those dwelling upon the face of all the earth to keep believers alert making supplication that you may succeed in escaping all these things that are destined to occur and in standing with approval before the Son of man. It is wise to take Jesus' words to heart. Why? Because those having the approval of God and the Son of man, Jesus Christ have the prospect of surviving the end of Satan's rule of things and of living forever in the marvelous new Heaven that is so close at hand.

We all know the last days are coming. The word of God tells us that we will not be able to buy or sell unless we have the mark of Satan ( The Devil's last move to have total control of the world). First we will start seeing stores closing. Second the banks will close because people will panic and start taking their money out of them. There will be caous and rioting everywhere, robbing and killing on every street. people starving, kids and elderly crying out into the streets for help and mercy. The world governments will be stating because of major counterfitting all goverments in the world will go off of the money system and require every individual to be marked and identified to function within the world system. The governments will offer immediate help to those receiving the mark and being identified including free food and water.

Living in a world system where you have no rights to function will be a night mare. Long lines of people will form waiting to receive the personal identification mark starting with the world identification number 666. People will even be fighting about who is a head of each other in the line. Many Christians who are not heavy anchored in their faith in Jesus will fall by the wayside and get in line to receive the mark of Satan, because of their anxiety, confusion and starvation. A few Christians will survive this short period of power the devil will display. Many Christians today are preparing for the woe that the devil will bring upon the world as his last battle with God. Many Christians are stockpiling canned goods under their beds, in the basement or attic. As well as empting out their milk jugs and filling them with water to store up. Some strong Christians advise you to have a 2-year supply of both water and food, to overcome this devastation period of the world. Christians will be hated, because most people will be blaming the world caous on believers in Jesus Christ who they will proclaim as a false prophet.

We can all see the extremism that threatens the globe. In the next year or two, we will see a One world Government forming bringing us nearer and nearer to the coming of Jesus Christ. We have already seen a people who love death more than life and to whom this world holds not the slightest attraction. Even as soon as next year we will experience it getting worse and worse spreading in every country. If ever there was a time the Devil has fought his might to control the world. Today is the day. He hates Christians and hopefully Christians will wake up and realize we are in a spiritual War. Look around you and see that there is less and less true believers in the word of God . The youth has been drawn away from believing. Most do not ever attend Church nor does anyone witness their faith and belief to them. Most Christians that confess that they are a believer and follower of Jesus Christ, will not be committed to be a worker to help others believe. Working together we can prepare for all the things that are going to come our way. I hope we are getting the message. People's belief that is weak will crumble. There are not many people that are willing to work or to died for Jesus Christ the true Son of God. The world is soon going to change. I believe that the real believers in Jesus Christ will stick together regardless of their denomination, helping one another. understanding they are in a fight for their lives.   NOT EVEN SATAN WILL BE ABLE TO ESCAPE THE TORMENTS OF HELL AT THE END OF TIME

"And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever"
Revelation 20:10

If Satan himself won't be able to escape the torments of Hell, how can a sinner?

WHERE WILL YOU SPEND ETERNITY? THE CHOICE IS YOURS.
If you are reading this and something isn't right between you and God, all you have to do to escape the torments of Hell is to repent of your sins and realize that God, through the blood of his son Jesus, is the only way. Wouldn't you like to be one of those that are called, chosen, and faithful? God does not want to see anyone go to Hell. He wants you to repent and surrender your sins. True peace can only be found through God. As long as you are still drawing breath it is not to late. No matter what you have done, you are not beyond the redemption of God. God shows mercy on us and that is why you are not beyond redemption. There are only two ways you can go. You are either one of God's or one of Satan's. There is no riding the fencehn 11:25-26

The day will come when we all will have to answer for what we did in this life here on earth, whether it be good or whether it be evil. All you have to do to escape that judgment that would send you to Hell for eternity is to accept Jesus as your savior and to let him take all your sins away. You will then be able to enter into the kingdom of Heaven, where there will be no more dying and you will live forever. Jesus died for the sins of the whole world. His blood is able to cover them all.
