One of the realities of your experiences in life is that you will have to face adversity, and temptation. And learn how to overcome everything that would keep you from the presence of God. Your objective is to recognize the reality of Satan. And to seek to understand the powerful limits, that faith in Christ, righteousness and fellowships impose upon him. In order that you may protect yourself and your family from his raging influence. Satan was Lucifer in premortality. He was a son in the morning, a much loved and most powerful angel. Lucifer was a major participant in the council in Heaven. Read Revelation 12:4-9. The contention in Heaven was there would be certain souls that would not be saved. And the Devil said he could save them all and laid his plans before the grand council who gave their vote in favor of Jesus Christ. So the Devil rose up in rebellion against God and was cast down with all other spirits who put up their heads for him. Satan was cast from Heaven and is in the Earth now. He is walking to and fro in the earth and up and down in it, as a roaring lion walks about seeking whom he may devour. Read Job 1: 6-7 and I Peter 5:8. He is here and he is at work. He seeks to destroy the world. And because his body is a spirit body, he can appear as a spirit in your mind or as an angel of light in using other people. When Satan does appear he teaches lies. Remember the Devil has no power over us, only as we permit him. And the moment we revolt at anything which comes from God, the Devil takes power. The traditional rules and practices of religion when Jesus came into the world was at its best an institution whose factions competed among themselves. And united against non-religious aspects of the society. They were at times very gross, very petty, superstitious, and wrong-headed. There was no real oneness in the members, although they appeared as a one body in the form of religion. In todays world we have over two hundred and fifty (250) different religious bodies. Most do not deny each other, nor do any seem to desire to accent each other. Many people feel we are heading to be a religiousness society because of the vast differences of belief and religious standards from one house to the next one. Mankind seems to be getting close to one another in business, activities, standards, and even the understanding of the language, but this is not so in the religion. The number one society problem, rather yet seen or not is religion. As soon as a person comes to have the ability to ask, "What am I?", he seeks a religious identification. The old rules of the past, where the communities we lived in did the influence for our religious preference doesn't hold true today. And the continuing change in religious beliefs show trends in changing from directing ones searching for meaning and purpose, to giving a level of acceptions of living and guiding attitudes toward accepting institutionized religion. The social change in religion in continuing at top speed into the direction of pleasement. Society wants a form of viewed spiritual leadership or an "ok" for actions even if change of rules is needed. Non-interested dissatisfied people of course are people who really know nothing about staying in the Bible. Religious values are no longer consistent or wholly in tune with the written word. We see people changing the true meaning of God's Holy Word to fit into their new foundation of faith. It would be very important to society, if all discrimination especially those in religions would end. We know how ridiculous it would be for a rustic who has heard only English to pass judgment upon the pronunciation of students who claim to speak good French. Yet do we make a similiar mistake by ridiculing the other religions, search for errors, pronounce their lostness without any real indepth knowledge? Private troubles many times will become public issues in religious groups, not because of the private trouble but because of the shifting of the attention away from the problem. You can make a lot more noise about the dogs tearing up the surrounding property, than about termites eating up your own place. Religion as a problem will not get too much official recognition from the various religious bodies. For the most part, it is "I am right, you are wrong." "It is my way or sorry for you." A pursuit of an alternate situation is of course to become one religion, one family with differences, to love one enough to feel as a brother or sister and leave everything else up to God. We find the many religious bodies do their function in society being involved with political economy and many areas they just fall into. We find very few using the real power they have faith to get things done. Trusting God and knowing God isn't interested in the silly sin we have done. He wants to forgive. He wants to change us to where we are above the kind of person that has to do wrong. God wants us to feel really alive, The solution of course is for everyone to start living spiritually. Our spiritual self has the ability to take leadership, if we allow it. The moral self (the body) can let pressure real and unreal be felt to an unattainable stable to keep this from happening. If we can however overcome ourselves, we can find peace, comfort, and freedom, even in the roughest times. Social change has come up with a solution of their own, the problem is just ignored and it's allowed for religious groups to make decisions, play God, add and omit whatever is suitable. The church is central and important in establishing the faith of mankind , but we are not allowed the luxury of Ecclesiastesism the ecumenical movement. We cannot spend tour time trying to put together the broken pieces of ecclesiatical structure. Christians are not carrying out a Christian revolution, they are working with secular, human methods of justice and politics to reform society, for the sake of man. The deviant persons from one religious order to another is just overlooked. The motivation for power, profit, and prestige is in most religious groups. The deviants within a sect or order does sometimes cause a problem for themselves. They find the product of label placing brings action and the action brings more labeling and then more action and at times they do not know how to bring it to a stop. There is an alternative to deal with the situation and that is getting back to believing the Word of God. Many Christians say everywhere I am hindered of meeting God in my brother, because he has shut his own temple doors and recites fables merely of his brother's or his brother's God. Christian fellowship in a oneness of faith is a lifting beyond words appearing to serve God without knowing Him. It certainly seems like the basis of all the society conflicts in religion. Just a few non-believers rising to power within the church causes division and coldness within the unity of faith. Spiritual pride commonly occasions a certain stiffness and inflexibility in persons, in their judgement and their own ways enough to keep the heart from coming tender and flexible like a child, to give the temple the right condition for the Lord to live within. God expects you to surrender (!00 percent) of yourself to him so he can give you a new Holy Spirit. There is a true light which lighteth every man. Get a man to be perfectly honest and he knows by an inner light what is right and what is wrong. This is the first sign of you being born again, you start feeling different. You start looking at your life different. To weigh evidence is to have ones conclusions influenced only by the truth. This is the main reason, God wants you reading His Holy Word. This is where all the truth comes from. If we find a little difficulty in imagining what the feasts and the ceremonies of the future could consist in, it is because we are going through a stage of transition and moral criteria. Get anchored in believing, trusting, and accepting Jesus as your personal Savior. The differences and patterns of change among the various denominations are somewhat complex and make interpretation difficult. The Devil is making it more difficult to get a foundation for you to use the measure of faith given you to anchor your beliefs in God. The world religious situation seems to become more and more complicated. Get into a King James version Bible, accept it as the true "Word of God", it has never failed as being true.
