An Established Christians Prayer

My Lord, as you have kept me safe each step of the way, I am asking you to keep me now. Troubles and trials are growing and I need the very power of your strength to satisfy and strengthen me. I have two great enemies that almost seem to overcome me. They are fear and doubt. They seem to search out and block each avenue of my life. As each new dream unfolds, doubt seems to block and erase the strength and knowledge that is needed to complete that dream, at times Lord, just lighten the clouds and give me that personal glimpse of you. Let me know I am constantly guided by an unseen hand of love and truth. Let me feel and know the key of life. As I serve as a faithful steward, facing responsibilities, let me find complete strength in thee to face each task. As situations arise. give me power to overcome. Let me represent you in every walk of my life. Let my life stand for purity and honesty. Let me be aware that someone is following each step I take,as I push toward each step of maturity. I sometimes feel myself not moving at all. I moan, for strength within myself, when it seems all is weakness and pain, and nothing to keep my spirit moving, I know you give me that touch that is always needed. I ask for forgiveness as I question trials that seem to grind me. Keep my life always vital and enriching to me. Let me see my life as it unfolds. Let me see the touches my life puts on others. Heal my hurts and ease my aching as I ponder thoughts to put a hold on my life. Let me find solid roots to anchor my life. Let me know where my life is going, what it is doing, and how it can benefit others. Let me know the cup of joy and happiness as each new day unfolds. Let me know you have walked where I am walking, you have felt, what I am feeling. Let me feel you use me,the Holy Spirit move through me.
